NEWS FROM THE GRADES UPPER GRADES The total enrollment of our room was twenty-one at the beginning of the term. During the term, Merlene Van Hoorn and Terry McCann moved from the district. Our Young C1tizen's League was active and met three tires during each six week period. Each member held some office during the year. We also had our own Court with a judge and jury. This group took care of minor discipline problems. We took part in the school carnival and sold pop and popcorn at all basketball games. We enjoyed a field hike and hay riding party. We had a Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine party. Our cheerleaders were Gloria Peters, Dorene Fenhaus, and Marilyn Miller. Our grade basketball team won 8 and lost 2 games. We won both the Corona and Wilmot invitat- ional tournaments. We feel the year has been both profitable and enjoy- able. Q , INTERMEDIATE GRADES We have twenty-one students in our room.
