Ingrid Glahe Barbara Arvizu HI- JINX 1968 116 CHS MUSICAL: IT’S A LIVING’’ 119 LUNCH There exists a period of approximately thirty min¬ utes during the approximate middle of the school day when classes are not in session in order to give the teachers time to hustle down to the Teachers Lounge and get some well deserved rest. However, some¬ thing had to be found to keep the students occupied during this time. Casting around for ideas, the Administration came up with this thought: Why not have the students eat lunch during this time, thereby keeping them out of trouble. Although LUNCH has never been included in the Activities section of the Coronal before, we feel that it deserves to be placed in this section. Actual calculation shows that each student spends at least ninety hours every school year eating lunch. This shows that it is one of the most time consuming non-educational activities parti¬ cipated in by the student body at this school. 120 BAND This year, as in past years, the Girls ' League sponsored a Hush Bow Day. Rudy Arguelles received the title of Mr. Irresistible. HUSH BOW DAY KO-HI-NUR This may look like an ordinary room with an ordinary teacher and an ordinary school paper editor, but take heed, for it is not! Shown are Judy Key, Editor of the Ko-Hi-Nur this year, and Mr. Tindall, the sponsor. The Ko-Hi-Nur blossom¬ ed forth with provoking articles on religion, the war, etc. FOOTBALL SPORTS ACTIVITIES WRESTLING • • • 124 TRACK 125 I FIELD. . . 126 BASEBALL 128 TENNIS. . . 129 BASKETBALL UNDERCLASSMEN JUNIORS ’69 Adams, Lynn Alvarez, Sofia Anguiano, Alfred Arnold, Ronald Adams, Richard Amos, Josie Aparicio, Renold Arnold, Susan Alarcon, Saul Anderson, Becky Araujo, Carolyn Asher, Jolyn Alley, Ban Andrade, Frances Arceo, Lucila Avalos, David JUNIOR CLASS SPONSORS, MISS TRISLER, MR.
