This team took first place in the AAA cham- pionship last year and expected to go undefeated this season. Striving for the state champion- ship was sophomore Luann Klimchock who took the state championship as a freshman last year and was ranked among the top tennis players in the nation. Luann and six others returned from last years squad. The requirements to make the team were to be one of the top 16 girls trying out for the team. The top eight are chosen by team challenges and they helping them develop their a ties to their potential throl out the year.
