' ,QXMXI fig . Gymnast earns honors, injuries A member of the freshman class, Michele Hanigsberg devotes much of her time to developing her talent in gymnas- tics. Since the age of nine, Michele has belonged to the Desert Gymnastics Train- ing Center. She practices for six hours after school and five hours every Saturday. This kind of schedule limits Michele's free time but she said, if you want to be good, it's hard. Her daily practicing has also given Michele some injuries. She has broken her wrist twice. You get paid back for all your hard work with all the experience you gain. Michele also gets repaid for her dedica- tion with recognition. She has won several ribbons, plaques and trophies for various performances. O..
