Y., reshman class uses sale profifs for Unifed Way Among the activities of the freshman class this year were a dance, two bake sales and a flower sale. One of the bake sales was held to raise money for the United Way Fund Drive. Guided by sponsors Marti Stoltenberg and Linda Dunn, the money earned by the class of '84 was put away for use in future years. Leading the freshmen were officers Cindy Mortensen, president, Debbie Wil- son, vice-president, Kathy Varela, secre- tary, Luann Rix, treasurer, Tracy Walker, girls representative, and Nathan Gam- mage, boy's representative. Nathan is one of 16 children. Nathan has 11 brothers and four sisters. He doesn't always enjoy being one of sixteen because sometimes you get left out of things. People joke about his family life. He does enjoy the fact that there is always someone to support him or help out when he has a problem. Sometimes I wish l was an only child so I could get more things, Nathan said. When he wants to get away from the rest of the family he goes into the backyard. There are only six children home at the present time. On holidays, such as Thanksgiving and Christ- mas, everyone comes home, Nathan said Although Nathan has brothers and a sister who have attended Corona, his teachers have not expected him to be like them.
