WHA THREE 112 CULTURAL GROUPS MECHA, led by Jesus Peralta and Raul Sandoval, held a Cinco de Mayo festival which included dancers from the Ballet Folklorico. Money raised through a dance and food sales was aimed toward a scholar- ship for a MECHA member. BSU sold pennants and held bak. sales and a car wash to raise money fo activities including a Christmas Party. Led by Felice Parham, BSU member participated in Heritage Week in Febru ary. At the end of the school year, BSI competed against other black heritag clubs from other schools.
