uJust You and I On Saturday, February 19 couples glided through a heart-lighted entryway into the Girls' Gym where the first Sweetheart Dance was held. Approximately 130 couples attended this Pep Squad sponsored event. The m was com letel decorated with red EY P Y , , and white streamers, stars on the ceiling, a stone wall painted around the bottom half of the gym, and a gazebo in one corner where refreshments were served. Everyone danced to the exciting beat of the Ram Rods. The dance's theme song was Eddie Rabit and Crystal C-ale's lovely song just You and I . When the dance was over, couples walked behind a white picket fence near the gazebo where hearts with each couple's names had been placed on the floor. Each heart was a momento of CdM's first Sweetheart Dance. 86 sweetheart dance L EMMA 6
