Walking by the choir room fourth period, one often sto ped to listen to the beautiful sound of Ma rigals and Concert Choir singing. These two choirs captured many people's attention this year in their numerous pub ic and private appearances. Both choirs sang at the Home Tour, at Fashion lsland, at South Coast Plaza, and at many private parties. The choirs worked very hard to reach their desired sound. In October, Madrigals went on a four day retreat to Lake Arrowhead. There, between fun times and relaxation, Madrigals sang for a total of 16 hours. Madrigals also met everyday at 7 a.m. to practice before school. ,. se 1 Beg. voice!M.M.M Beginning voice is a program designed for new singers to explore their musical talents. The program, according to advisorfteacher Loretta Robinson, is geared to create a performance-like environment for the novice singers. This year they had many opportunities for performing. The vocalists sang at private engagements, school assemblies, and the Spring Musical. What is MMM? Modern Music Masters is an international music honor society which fosters an interest in solo, ensemble, band, orchestral and choral performances. Advisor Harry Corea feels that MMM is necessary, for it encourages and promotes music and musicianship on a high school campus. This year's president, Becky Delancy, led the many talented musicianfmembers. Front Row: jennifer Siebel, Eliza- beth Mooney, Shannon Buzzard, Dana Bolen, Vicky McPeak.
