From summer pizza parties to collecting ASB card discounts, the enthusiasm ran high in the leadership class of 82-83. Throughout the year ASB worked on fundraisers such as the jog-a- thon, the chili cook-off and the phone-a-thon. The fundraisers were all a tremendous success, raising money for various club and activity budgets. Activities were constantly being planned such as band display week, the dating game, Gallos sandwich sale and even a ping-pong tournament to encourage student participation. Although the leadership class was derived from various groups around campus, members worked well together as a team and made a successful year.
