Eight new characters were added to our school's chapter, an ever-changing circle of personality. As usual, the junior and senior classes held the seats of honor in the orchestra. Before the eventful day when the new members were admitted, the old members, with much confusion, shouting, and joy, held an election for the presidency and sec- retaryship. When the ballots were counted, it was found that the affairs of the societv would be guided by Dean Sprague, president, and Robert Shaddock, S6CI'CfL1l'y. Later, with the new members present, another rousing election was held with the following results: Jeanne Beilby, vice-president, and .Iune Semple, treasurer. A The new members were welcomed into the society at a tea in the homemakintg rooms. To this function, faculty advisers and members of Northside High Schoolis chapter were invited. The tea was carried off with much success under the chairman- Fister xacation lpproached and with it the society were guests it 1 skating pirtv gn en by Northside High School s chapter.
