Praridmr ....... .IQHN Moa AN Viz:-freml ur , . Davin GAMMONS E I. .Yrrrrrmjv . , . , DEAN SPRAGUE Tmzmrn . . UIEANNE Baiuav W TL' X 5 Vote for Templer! Moran for president! This was the battle cry which echoed through the corridors durin the heated cam v ' f h ' ' g jaign or t e presidency of the senior class. Moran emerged victorious, with David Gammons as vice-president, Dean Sprague as secretary and Bud Waddell as treasurer. This campaign was followed by another equally heated battle for the ofhce of president of the student council. In this contest, Bob Dineen opposed George Nessle, and, after many sleepless .nights and many days of hard work George vvon out. Henry Elwood was elected vice-president. After these two vigorous campaigns, the class felt the need for a little recreation so they held a Senior Party in the gymnasium, October eleventh. Our next diversion was staged on a romantic, moonlight night when all the farmers and farm- erettes gathered for a good old-fashioned hay ride, ending up at the Fish and Game Club for refreshments and dancing. After these pleasures everyone set diligently to work on a magazine campaign. We disturbed the peace of all our neighbors and friends but our efforts were crowned with success and welcome funds poured into our heretofore empty coffers. Shortly after this, our treasurer, Bud Waddell, moved to Elmira and Jeanne Beilby was ap- pointed to the office. At a challenge of ,junior Study Hall in the Fall an attendance contest was held between the senior and junior study halls and Miss Wolcott's and Mrs. Clark's homerooms. Senior Study Hall and Mrs. Clark's room lost, so they joined in entertaining the winners at a party in the gym Everyone had a good time and, for once, the boys had their fill of ice cream and delicious homel made cakes. In March, we turned our interest to the drama and presented our senior play The Swan , . This roved a source of great pride and pleasure to us, and was, we hope, entertaining and enjoy- able or our audiences. The senior social calendar had two major events to highlight the year's activities: the Big Six dance held during Christmas vacation, and the Senior Prom at Easter time. These dances were very successful affairs, both well managed and well attended. A social hour was held later in the year, May nineteenth, just before we settled down for that last strenuous lap to prepare for final exams. ' TAL
