71 I' 41, Qin C LASS OFFICERS URING our past four years as students of Corning Free Academy, we have been passing through a period that will leave an indelible impres- sion upon the years to come. The clouds of depression have to a certain degree dimmed our possibilities, Our outlook as alumni of this institution has been likewise dimmed by visions of unemployment and lessened possi- bilities of higher education, I-Iowever, as we look back over the years of association with our teachers and classmates, and find that we have successfully taken ourfirst hurdle with their most sincere and helpful cheers of encouragement, we feel as we go forth to meet the next barriers that, with their well wishes, we shall likewise surmount the many obstacles and run a race that will win for us a commend- able note in the history of C. F. A. To the on-coming classes we extend our most cordial best wishes for their success. To the Superintendent, Vice-Principal, and Faculty, we wish to express our thanks for the many considerations and the fine treatment we have received. Moreover, looking ahead, we see the clouds opening Possibilities are there We shall succeed And this confidence in our success is in no small measure due to the fact that we, to a greater extent than any of our prede cessors, have the interest, the good will, and the best wishes of a sympathetic student body and an equally sympathetic faculty President of the Senior Class, ROBERT OUINN ROBERT OUINN MARY MADIGAN President Secretary RICHARD JOHNSON GERTRUDE BOLAND Vice President Treasurer Advisors MISS SAVAGE MR MILLER MR LeROY TI-IE STATOR
