The individual Christian lije can be likened to a great ■ sailing vessel. When a ship is moored in a harbor with all the sails lowered, the pilot, no matter how skilled he may be, finds it impossible to fulfill his duty. For you s' te, a ship that is stationary cannot be steered along a course. V
