Cheerleaders This year's cheerleading squad reflected previous cheer- leading experience. Chosen in the fall on the basis of I cheering ability, enthusiasm, spirit, smile, and pep, the The squad felt that there were rewards for being a cheer- leader. The most important reward they had was getting to know people. Besides meeting students from other schools, their experiences as cheerleaders helped them to get to know more students on Baptist campus because more kids happen to know them. Throughout the year the squad developed a bond, both spiritually and as friends. Before each game and practice session, the cheerleaders met foi prayer and devotions led by one of the squad members.
