Dear Graduate, Recently an alumnus of our school visited the new campus for his first time. He had been on the mission field for four years and this was his first opportunity to view the visible evidence of the school's progress in the recent years. 1 watched with interest as he and his wife approached the Administration Building. Later as we talked about the Lord’s blessing on the school, he made a remark worth not- ing. He said, You know. Dr. Welch, after seeing what God has done here, I feel my graduation from this school means more to me than ever before.’’ As a 1968 graduate, yours is a unique experience — unique in that yours is the class which began as freshmen on the new campus. You have shared with us both the joys and heartaches, the fulfillment and frustrations, of a completely new operation. These have been years of significant changes which now make your graduation day more meaningful. The future promises to be just as significant in improvements as the past. New buildings are scheduled. An enlarged curriculum of majors and minors is ready for next year. A larger student body will find richer offerings, both academically and spiritually, and will be challenged by new and well-trained faculty members joining the academic team. We feel that you too will say as the years go by, My graduation from this school means more to me than ever before.” Please be assured as you leave these familiar college halls that our investment in you to this moment means a continued personal interest in your future wherev- er our blessed Lord may direct your steps.
