Foreword Therefore, when wc build—let it be such work as our descendants will thank us for, and let us think, as we lay stone on stone, that a time is to come when those stones will be held sacred be- cause our hands have touched them, and that men will say as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, 'See, this our fathers did for us.' Ruskin We present to you, with great pleasure, the 1965 Kumi Ori. We count it a privilege to share with you the blessings so evident at our college. As the Kumi Ori reaches into the homes and lives of our many friends, alumni, faculty, and students, we pray that Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord will be magnified for the Great work He has brought about in the Grand Rapids Baptist Bible College and Seminary. It is our desire to build in our college both campus and lives glorifying to His name and pleasing to His service. It is this building of school and individual lives to the glory of God wc are portraying within these pages.
