.The student of the Bible is, in a measure, un- like other students. Having felt the call of God, men and women who are established in life and sometimes well on the road to success leave various backgrounds. From the farm, the fac- tory, the store, the desk, the battlefield, the pulpit, the bedside, and even from the verge of death come the young and the old, the married and the single for the purpose of preparing themselves for the service of God. Through the Seminary, the Five-Year Theological course, the music, missions, Christian education and general Bible courses of the Bible Institute and the Evening School, these young men and women are trained individually and collectively in the Word of God, thus developing a Bible-centered and Spirit-Controlled philosophy of life. The student body of 1956-1957 is introduced in the following pages. . . 2
