Marjorie Wood . . . The choice teaching staff of the Evening School makes the study of God’s Word a real pleasure as well as a privilege. In addition to the regular staff, Mr. Elmer Nicholas, our school librarian, is also teaching evening classes in Book Study and Guide to Bible Study. ‘Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.” This verse, Psalm 37:5, is a favorite of Mr. Nicholas. A native of Missouri, he received his B.A. from Baker University, his B.D. from Garrett Biblical Institute, and his M.A. from Northwestern University. He has also studied at the Moody Bible Institute, Yale University, University of Michigan, Ferris Institute and Western Michigan College. Mr. Nicholas has had wide and varied experiences, including work in the field of journalism where he was employed by the Union Gospel Press and the “Evangelical Christian”. He is an ac- complished linguist, handling twelve languages. . . 23
