We trust that the Lord will use the messages in word and song that were given out on the choir trip this year . . . it's supposed to be a spring tour, but you wouldn't have known it from the weather, but then snow is nice in April . . . Globetrotters beware . . . the B.T.S. Basket-breakers are on the march . . . they came out on top in their league and you can be sure they got the royal welcome they deserved . . . Carol Swanson's artistic a- bilities played no small part in it . . . The Missionary Conferama caused a mix up in classrooms for a few days at the beginning of second semester, but it was well worth it . . . besides the thirty or more booths depicting various phases and places of mis- sionary work there were missionary speakers and panel discussions . . . This year has been one of special missionary emphasis .... the report of the slaying of the five missionaries in Equador makes one stop and look at his own life . . . the Things of this world don't mean much in the light of eter- nity . . . Reverend Barnet spent a very en- lightening and inspiring week with us . . . in his theme The Magna Carta of Missions he brought out many points that were new to some of us . . . through new world con- ditions, there has been a great change in missionary work and it is of the utmost im- portance that we are prepared to meet these new situations . . . — 14 —
