N II i I k L life at (Cornell will remain vividly in the minds of many of us for some years to come. Indeed, it is in this realm of activity that some of us seem to spend most of our time. The opportunities for social contacts are many, despite our over-emphasized ratio. Willard Straight Hall plays a significant role in the average Comedian's social affairs, with parties and dances of innumerable descriptions and entertainment in a variety of idioms. The entire hill abounds with methods of having a good time. Campus organizations give frequent parties celebrating either the genesis or the conclusion of a particular endeavor, or merely for tin sake of having a party. The four classes sponsor cocktail parties and dances throughout the year, and of course tin fraternities, within their sphere of activities, contribute considerably to the social atmosphere. 12
