influences serve to provide us with not only extremely pleasant surroundings in which to carry on our academic endeavors, hut a variety of locations where we may participate in outdoor activities. Skiing at Tar Young Hill, skating and swimming at Beebe Lake, sailing on Cayuga Lake, and drinking at Buttermilk Falls, as well as spring classes on the main quadrangle and sketching in the gorge, all combine to offer us a multiplicity of exciting activities. Each student may form and evaluate his personal philosophy through discussion with his contemporaries and the chaplains on campus. By participation in student church groups those of the same faith may Itcnefit from mutual beliefs. Activities in Cornell United Religious Work stimulate thought and encourage manifestation of religious convictions by-work with campus and community groups. Communal worship is enjoyed by those of varied beliefs in Sage Chapel, and services of numerous faiths are attended by those who here find spiritual satisfaction.
