COLORS FLOWER ROYAL BLUE and WHITE WHITE CAIINATIGN TODAY wt Fouow, TOMORHQIN wt LEAD aww WW OFFICERS of the CLASS of I955 SENIOR CLASS HISTORY In the fall of 1951 sixty-one bashful but noisy freshmen entered our dear old Alma Mater. We were really a headache when all the bells began to ring, and after everybody else was out of the halls there we stood, wondering where to go next. We chose as our class officers Marvin- Sdlroeder, Presidentg Duane Johnson, Vice-Presidentg Kathryn Burke, Secretaryg and Raymond Muth, Treasurer. Fifty-six of us were brave enough to come back as sophomores. During the year we sponsored several dances after games and did other things for class income. Officers for the year were Janet Swoboda, IP1-esidemg Kathryn Burke, Vice-President: Charles Burns, Secretaryg and Connie Bourget, Treasurer. ln our junior year we elected Duane Johnson, President: Gene Miller, Vice-Presidentg Kaye Guthrie, Secretary: and Marilyn Munz, Treasurer. The Desert Song was the theme of the prom April 23 with J immy Knight's orchestra. Duane Johnson and Marge Langeberg reigned as king and queen. Our class play, Rest Assured, was presented November 19 and 20 and netted S123.60, a new school record. With many pleasant memories of the past three years our senior year loomed majestically before us. Class officers were Gene Miller, Presidentg Connie Bourget, Vice-Presidentg Marion Burns, Secretaryg and Carol Saxe, Treasurer. Qtr all-school carnival on February 5 was a big success. Our class play, presented in ivlay, was a mystery-comedy entitled Finders Creep- ers. We all looked forward to class day exercises and commencerr' .W late in May, but when they finally arrived, they found many of us with mixed feelings of sadness and joy. Many years from now we hope to look back upon the wonderful memories of high school life as our happiest years. 4
