There were also many eophies active on the school paper, in band, and in glee club. We are all looking forward to our remaining two years in Cornell High School with a great deal of anxiety.

JUNIOR CLASS HISTORY In September, 1945, sixty-six bashful but ambitious freshmen entered Cornell High School for the first time. During the year thirteen of our classmates dropped from our ranks. The class officers we elected were william Howard, president, Carol Lavalley, vice presidentg and Rose Klima, secretary and treasurer. Our sophomore year found only fifty-one of us present. We had lost ten members, one of whom Joined the United States Navy. The class officers were: president, Glen Wilcoxg vice-president, Don Lubach: secretary and treasurer. Elaine Nelson. As Juniors we are back at the Wgrindstoneu again. Of the thirty-eight students en-- rolled, only four left. As our class play we chose 'Gone with the Girlsu, a hilarious three-act comedy by L. Verne Slout. Given on October 19, 1945. the play was a financial success. Glen Wilcox is our class presidentg Kenny Crosby, our vice-president, and Carol Lavalley, our secretary and treasurer. We also presented the Junior prom, given in honor of the senior class of 1946. The prom was held on April 26 with Johnny Atter furnishing the music.

FRESHMAN CLASS HISTORY After a leisurely summer, forty-four of the best-looking, most intelligent freshmen in the history of the world came tlmldly into the halls of our beloved institution of secondary learning. The first thing accomplished by the ugreenlesu was the election of class officers. Wanda Sukopp, because of her good natured disposition, was chosen presldentg Lyle Hurlburt, vice-president: Larry Moen, treasurer. Since the arrival of the freshe Since the arrival of the freshles, seven newcomers have started and seven have dropped, leaving us just what we started with, forty-four. They soon settled down to conscientious study and under the guidance of the upperclassmen learned the ropes as well as bad habits.
