Saturday afternoon the weather- man cooperated and scores of Ram fans had plenty to roar about in the first half of the Rams' tilt with the Kohawks. The halftime score was Cornell 2l, Coe l4. But alas, the Roaring Twenties slid into the depression of the thirties as the Kohawks took over in the second half to win 35-21. Saturday night Cornellians went underground to the Bootlegger's Ball where Queen Sue McMasters received her crown and Rams fans drowned their sorrows.

Tarr Hall, a pre-games favorite for last place, upset all predictions by winning two events and picking up entry points in The third To win the girl's division of Winter Weekend Olympics. The favored Phi-O's were second with a win in the King's Race and high places in other events, but They couldn't overcome The scramblers from Tarr in either broom hockey or Tug-of-war. The favored DelTs pulled out To an early lead in The boy's division, but failed To win a game in broom hockey. A strong showing Sunday by The Gammas forced a Tie for first place. The Milts put in a strong bid for The title with a surprise second in the tug-of-war and a first in the Queen's Race. They trailed the Delts by iust one point going into the broom hockey tourna- ment, but like The Delts they could not survive the first round. They wound up in Third place, one point from a Three-way Tie for first. The Tarr girls looked neither quiet nor shy as they de- feated the Thetas, the Phi-O's and The Arrows on their way To the broom hockey championship.
