MUSIC Someday, when I can play my flute really well, I want it to sound like dewdrops forming on the grass. The music will sound like bubbles floating, a baby's laugh, an old man crying. ' It will sound like wind blowing through the trees, a deer running, a flower blooming. It will sound wild, free, unrestrained and joyous. When that day comes, I will use it to make people happy, if only for a moment. Amanda Amador 9-405 January 31, 1985 DANCING Dancing is a way of expressing your moods, or your emotions. Most people do it for enjoyment. Some do it or take it seriously. A few people dance because they want to feel young not old. In my view I love dancing and I also want very seriously to become one of the best dancers out. Some people could dance to make their anger go away. People could also dance in a dramatic way. When I feel very happy I dance very gracefully, and swiftly and modernly. Robert E. Gonzalez 9'301 DANCING Express yourself with dance, It's more than words can say, No artist can capture it On canvas, marble or clay. You can be so many different things By moving your body around You can say so much Without making a single sound Much work is put behind it, But in the end it shows, For when a person dances Her inner spirit grows. If we could all be dancers And set our emotions free, We could all be happy people And be anythig we wanted to be. Annette G. Bosado 9-204 .21. l Yen Chen CHANGING It is time to change my tears of sorrow into laughter of joy. To step out of the darkness which has held me, captive for so long. And into the shimmering bright light. To open those closed doors which have stopped me so many times, held me within some stranger, and trapped me inside my own tears of sorrow. No longer am I trapped behind those closed doors, for they have been left ajar. I am now free from those tears, and free to laugh free to be open, to be myself. I can now say farewell, to the past, to my old tears of sorrow, tears of pain and loneliness, And welcome the new me, and to the sparkling new future which lies ahead!! Chara Ann Tappin 9-337

MY WISH My wish is for a world of peace. This should be so easy to do as to say For our world holds so many treasures and so many threats. Those threats, for which a civilization that man has built can be destroyed. Whenever my wish is fullfilled it won't be too soon but now it is only a wish. Terry Villanueva 9-337 LET ME IN Problems show on your face though you act joyful Tears moving in your eyes though you are smiling Problems are never solved if you are hiding them So open yourself and let me in Perhaps I can help. Ana Chan 9-405 l Tsui Kam Lai 9-438 .20. THE MAN WITHOUT A FACE The man without a face Is a man who is lonely Who has no friends to share his time He will always be crying Though you can't see the tears I-Ie wants to belong to Somebody, something, anything Just to be needed and wanted The man without a face ls someone I do not want to be. Glennis Melendez 9-337 ROAD Don't tell me you are tired. Don't tell me you can't go on. Don't complain about the road. The end of the road is just in front of you So go for it. Ana Chan 9-405 IAM I am what I wish to be to me. I have reached my goals. I am content for now. But to other people I am a fraction of what I should be or either in the shadow of another person I should follow. I am what I wish to be. I want to be realized for what I have done not for the shadow I should stand in nor for what my ability holds. I am a person who cannot be put into a life. I must choose my life and those I wish to share it with. I am and will forever be what I am, me. Terry Villanueva 9-337
