Making sure everything is all right. I am bothered and I am worrying I hope my mark will not be discouraging, I know this thing on my mind will never go away I hope it will end the day after today. TERROR NIGHT On the night of February 28, I was visited by a ghost. It was like a nightmare. It was nerve-wrecking. I woke up in the middle of the night and I felt funny about something, but I couldnft figure out what it was. When I tried to go back to sleep, something touched my hands. When I opened my eyes, I saw a big thing with a dark face that was pitch black, and it had glowing eyes. It was saying to me Come on, come with mef, Then my room became very dark-as if I were in another world abut I could still see my bed-room, and it hada little light, so I had to make it to the light. But I couldnlt because Hitw wouldnft let me. It felt like a magnet, and I couldnit break free. Suddenly however, as I was trying to reach the light he pulled me back with such a force I thought Iwas gone. But I tried once more, and I broke free. While I was trying to break free, I said a prayer to the Lord God and he helped me escape. That terror will stay within me for the rest of my life. Christopher McBride Steven Caldwell 9-305 11

SENIORS Seniors are sweet Others are sour No one can beat The Senior Power! Tina Byrd 9-324 REMEMBER ME I will always remember you. You helped me in many ways. You were there to make me happy on my sad lonely days. I will always remember you and the love that we shared those long summer days and how deeply you cared. I will always remember you In all that I do for the good times we've had and all we've been through. I will always remember you. I'm sure by now you can see, but I ask one question will you remember me? Zenobia Valle 9-337 HOW IT FEELS TO BE IN THE CHORUS To be in the Senior Chorus is an honor because not everyone is chosen to join. Only those who are willing to work hard and have courage, and respect being in the chorus. Sure it's hard work but believe me it's worth it. We students in chorus enjoy being in the Senior Chorus. We travel to fancy places, we've been to hotels we've never been to before. We really have fun together especially when we complete with other choirs. We also have early rehearsals that make us good enough to compete and sing. Sometimes we even go to two places one after the other in the same day. Being in the Senior Chorus . is really fun, but hard work,especially if you have one teacher. I don't know how Mrs. Pate puts up with 125 students. Glenda Marrero 9-336
