In presenting this book, we, the senior class, sincerely hope that we are leaving to you a true representation of the school activities of the year 1960. ln later years this book will become a priceless treasure to you, preserving the happy school days of '61 at Corinth High in pictures and in words. With this purpose in mind we proudly present to you the 1961 Corinthian. af 7?67 Administration Faculty Seniors Favorites Juniors Sophomores Freshmen Activities Athletics Elementary Advertisements As the day begins for the high school students, so it does for the grammar grades. The three R's begin their day. - 0, x ,Q il 5 As you roam the country, you always find a building of learning much like our CHI-IS. lt's sturdy appearance assures you it will always be there. ,,.aml1 5npy 1 awww Here in the Home Ec. class the girls are learning many useful arts that will help them in the future. A second after each bell finds everyone in the halls and on the way to classes. :de Recess is a time looked forward to by all students. The coke machine makes it even more enjoyable. In the Agriculture classes the boys learn much that will help them in their future life on the farm. -fp?-f When you need a refreshing snack, try our school store for the makings. The happiest time in the day comes when we load the school buses for their return home. To someone who has understood our problems, assisted us with patience of steel, listened to our complaints with an admirable smile, inspired us with confidence, and encouraged us when we were disheartened. For these reasons and many others too numerous to name, we, the Senior class of 1961, sincerely dedicate the 1961 Corinthian to Mrs. Margie P. Cockrell. 70: ' On December 17, 1955 God called Virginia Annette Moore to His throne of ever- lasting peace and joy. Although we miss her in every possible way, it is not as if she were completely gone from us, for the sweet memory of her which lingers with us is immortal. We have lost her as a member of our classg yet, we feel our loss was God's gain. We think of her now as a member of His class. It is with deepest feeling that we, the Seniors of 1961, present this page of our Corinthian in honor and memory of Virginia Annette Moore. L1 O ADMINISTRATION J MR. E. S.
