': . 9, M W f. .. ,A M, ,, I see that ELBERT DRIVER has taken Troy Ruttman 's place in the Indianapolis Stock Car Races. In priveie life, he frequently has to call on Lawyer DAYLON WHITLEY and his receptionist, JOAN O'NEAL. I see JERRY DAVIS and CARL DENTON on the Grand le O Opry. In the air, I see JEAN FOWLER as stewardess on JERRY MURPHY'S and HAROLD DRIVER'S Jet Passen- ger Plane. JOYCE CARPENTER now manages Jean 's Clothing Store in Raleigh. Her success is largely dependent on her designers GAIL STRICKLAND and SARAH GREENE, and models SUE SANDERFORD and EDNA PIERCE. WILBUR MICHAEL has become manager of the Raleigh city buses. Say, who is that smiling nurse coming out of room 2IO in DR. LARRY BARNES' Hospital. Why it's JEAN- ETTE CONGLETON. Two of the nurses on his staff are JUDITH HARRIS and MARTHA PURYEAR. EVELYN HINTON is content to keep house for Billy and Jr. I see DONALD MICHAEL down in Florida. He has his own ship with a fleet of yachts. FRED and PHILIP JOHNSON made the sports page when the New York Giants won the Pennant. I see that MAHLON THOMASSON is one of the most successful farmers of our day. I also see that DONALD MOONEYHAM is a general in the Air Force. There's LILLIE BOYETTE, who has just taken Margaret Truman 's place on Weekday. HAROLD CREECH has opened a fashionable Men's Shop in Paris. His Secretary is MYRTLE JONES. SAVONNE CARROLL is a grand housekeeper. BROOKS EATMON has opened a Used-Car Lot in Raleigh. His bookkeeper is NELLIE GRAY HOCUTT. Across the street, there is his competitor, CHARLES VINSON, who has opened a new Pontiac place with h is if PA w e, T BUNN, as bookkeeper. Beside him is NEEDHAM WHITLEY, who runs his own service station. In the political world, there is JIMMY STRICKLAND, who is now our President of the United States. I remember very well all those years that he was president of our class. I see that EDDIE MARTIN has been ap- pointed as the United States d I t t h ' d ' ' ' ' ' ' ELLIS. JUDITH BARHAM continued her nursing career, and is now a famous heroine in Africa. EDNA RAPER'S children will attend Corinth-Holders under a new administration. NETTIE HALES has taken Miss Jones' place as the commercial teacher. JOYCE BOUGHMAN continued her education at WCUNC. She liked it so much that she is on the faculty there. OTHELL HINTON is keeping books for her husband 's big firm in NewAYork. GRANT CROCKER is in a position to keep up with all the romances at his drive-in-grill. CHARLES HINTON'S experience in selling ads sold him on the idea of establishing his own news a e . P P I' He now owns and runs the Dixie Observer. There is MARY HARRIS on his staff, who writes all that up-to- the-minute interesting news. e ega e o t e Unite Nations. Accompanying him is his private secretary SHELBY CARL DIXON now has his own bank account. He now owns the largest bank in Clayton. His cashier is MARY JANE WORLEY. Although JOANNE ANDREWS d was vote as the laziest girl in the Senior Class, she has become famous from her book Brains Rather Than Brawn.
