CLASS PRCPHECY Yes, it seems only yesterday that we were in school but no, it can't be. Just take a glimpse of The many things that have taken place since that i955 graduating class left Corinth-Holders. Charles Ray Hinton is naw coaching the Army basketball team, and on The sidelines he is raising a complete team of his own. Glendle Faye Johnson and Shirley Skinner mastered shorthand in l955, and they are now stenographers for a big firm out in California. larry Ray Andrews chose the Navy. He sails and sails. You will see him in the news- reel Soon for outstanding bravery at Hatteras. Audrey Price continued her education and was selected as private secretary to Ben Garner, owner of Garner Cadillac Company of Raleigh, N. C. Many people thought Willie Mae Johnson would be an English and French Teacher, but ah! Willie is now in Hollywood playing with some French actor. lt isn't surprising at all that Jean Bailey, Peggy Boughman, Peggy Murphy, Violet Wise, and Ann Medlin chose to be housewives for their successful husbands. Randy Creech wandered out To Texas, where he's owner of a big ranch on which saddle horses are raised. To our honor, we have Herman Barrow, Archie Cooke, Larry Castleberry, and law- rence Ellis playing with The New York Yankees. Due to the retirement of two high school teachers at Corinth, we have Rebecca Wise, Teaching Home Economics, and Linda Perry teaching Social Studies and coaching the basketball team. There's Jean Dixon who has lust gotten married and is a well known society reporter for a New York paper, of which Glenda Brown is editor. Hilda Creech was married after graduation and has settled down in the Earpsboro community. Nelson O'Neal owns and operates The greatest and latest Fashions for men and women department store in New York City. Norma Thompson, now Nelson's assistant, continually brings The business up The scale by making such irresistible displays for the shop exhibits, Many Times we are disappointed in the achievements of our classmates, but not Donald Glenn Weathers. He's a doctor at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Bobby Carter, always known for his music, is now a disk jockey. Along with him is Ray Hinnant. Jimmie Wilder, James Ivey Narron, and Earl Temple became dissatisfied with the mar- riage laws of the U. S., so They left to collect a harem. For The Highway Patrol we rendered girls and bays. There are Betty Jo Johnson, Pansy Garner, and Janie Wilder as secretaries. We also have Charles Narron and Charles Price as Highway Patrolmen. Riding out in the country, you will find, Philip Barnes, Earley Wilder, and Roy lee Richardson successful farmers with helpful wives. At the Willis Co. owned by Larry Harding, There are two successful bookkeepers, Betsy Ross Wall and Loy Sanderford. Jimmy Whitley and Bobby Johnson liked The Chevro- lets so well they own the Chevrolet Co. in Raleigh. They have as their Secretary, Della Mae Hinton. Ray Harris has climbed to the Top of the ladder as mathematics instructor at State College. Franceline Hinton is doing fine, She continued her education and is now secretary of a great movie producer in Hollywood.
