We were soon on our way to Nevada. Here we stopped and met johnnie Green, who was securing her second divorce. She informed me that Rochelle Murphrey was typist in the Reno court room, rushing divorces. I met my plane and once again we were soaring into the air-this time to San Diego, California. Here I met two old friends, Kate Narron and john Williamson, who were assigned to the same ship as navy nurse and sailor. I went up the street and into a swanky night club and was royally entertained by Annie Pearl O'NeaI and Anne Boyette, who were leading chorus girls. We were joined by Norma Lee Hocutt, noted newspaper reporter, who was on her way to cover the plays of lanis Rose and Bobby Hinton at the all-American tennis tournament, They were partners in the world-wide tennis tournament. She told us that Melisse Pounds was a dress designer for a large manufacturer in San Diego and that Mary Ruth Hinton and Geneva Bowman were owners of a chain of exclusive fur shops. As l boarded my plane once more, my heart was light because I had heard of each of my classmates and was so pleased at the career each ot them had chosen. ALDEEN HUOPANA, Prophet

SENIOR PROPHECY In the year l9S7, I stepped into the Pan-American to which I was assigned as hostess to make a cross-country flight. To my amazement, there as pilot was an old class-mate of mine, Alvin Narron, and Cecil Price as co-pilot. As the plane warmed up, the head mechanic, who was none other than Haywood Brantley, gave it final inspection. I began to check my passenger list and found that Sarah Howell and Charles Ray Raines were on board and l later learned that this was their honey- moon trip, They informed me that they were on their way to take in a show at the Stork Club featuring Charles lohnson's orchestra with Virginia Rae Creech featured as pianist, Upon reminiscing further, I learned that Buice Creech had settled on a farm with his childhood sweetheart and was still raising prize cows and hogs, and that Willie Thomasson had taken over management of the Wendell Theater. I learned that Sadie Mae Philipps was the community school teacher. Our plane took off and the first stop was Washington, D, C, We had a stop- over here and I encountered many of my old classmates. I met Rachel Murphy, who was secretary to Senator Taft, and we had lunch in the Strickland Brothers' cafe- teria---proprietors Bennet and Coleman. We talked together of our old classmates and I learned that Lois Parrish was their cashier, It was soon necessary for me to leave, and as I passed the White House, I saw a very distinguished person dressed in the robe of the Supreme Court. I saw that it was Marshall High. He told me he was on his way to the law office of Carl Price, a quite famous lawyer, for a con- ference on a matter soon to come up in the Supreme Court, He said that Sarah Wilder was Carl's very efficient secretary. l hailed a passing taxi to return to the airport and as it pulled over to the curb, I immediately recognized the driver as Willard Hinnant. During our conversation on the way to the airport, he told me that Douglas Parrish and Riley Narron were operating a pool room at Emit, N, C. Soon it was time for my plane to leave and as I passed through the crowded lobby, I recognized Eliza- beth Elowers. I stopped long enough to learn that she was enrolled in the john Hopkins' School of Nursing and that Billy Castleberry was interning there and making a big hit with the nurses, I walked with her to the reservation desk and to my sur- prise, Wilma Narron handed her the reservation, I bade my friends good-by and soon we were soaring into the air. Our next stop was Nashville, Tennessee, I walked down to our hotel and as I registered, I noticed three familiar names on the registry, They were Robin O'NeaI, David O'Neal, and Edward Green, When I came down that night, I ate dinner with Dave and Robin, who were hell-drivers with the State Eair and they informed me that Edward Creen was the favorite singer of the Crand Ole Opry fans. I also learned that Wilbur johnson was a scientist at Oak Ridge, helping study the facts of the atomic bomb. I again boarded my plane and we were soon headed west, Our next stop was New Orleans and here I went out to enjoy the Mardi-Cras, I met another old class- mate here, Helen Kemp, who was on vacation with her husband, who was a jewelers The plane was soon on its way toward its next stop, which was El Paso, Texas. We went out to enjoy the nationally famous rodeo and found that lohn Skinner was the star. We learned that he was riding one of the famous Boyette horses which was raised on the Thomas Boyette ranch.
