SENIOR CLASS HISTORY lContinued from page 41 This last year in high school was a glorious one with many activities., Our biggest event was the Senior Play, Oh, Promise Me! It was a modern comedy which made a real hit with our audience. Next was the Junior-Senior Banquet that the Junior Class gave. It was formal and the decorations included both of the classes' colors. We, the Seniors of,'46, have had the most versatile year, and have enioyed every minute of it-even classes. We grew to know and love each other and our teachers, and many of us found friendships that have lasted and grown together, and which we hope will continue. But now we have reached the end of the 'year, and of our high school course, and we must start again as Freshmen. We are entering a life new and untried, but with the confidence that we shall graduate from it at last with honors. We, the Class of '46, look forward to graduation with the purpose of carrying on our schooI's honor and traditions. Thus we soy, Hail and Farewell Corinth Holder School, from the Class of '46. -HAZEL BUNN, Historian. THE CLIMAX Now we've come to the end of our Senior year We sit here alone with our thoughts.. The chimes ring out in a melodious strain For joys the twelve years have brought. Do you know what the end of these glad years Can mean to our loyal hearts? Our school days, are over and as we' reach our goal The dear friends have to part. Yes, this is the end of the perfect years Near the start of a iourney too. It leaves us sad but with great memories That will always be fond and true. Surely experience has touched these brief years And left heartoches that never fade.
