He claims his most memorable moment was when the first kindergarten he supervised, graduated Mr Sprague’s retirement plans include travelling in the United States and Canada with his wife and learn- ing to play golf His parting words to Corinth ' I feel I have been very fortunate with my career here, and I have never been disappointed that I chose Corinth. If I had the chance to do it over again. I definitely would I have great faith and pride in Cornith Central. Fred Sweet has taught at Corinth Central School for twenty-six and one-half years. His initial assignment at Corinth included seventh, eighth and ninth grade Math and Science In recent years however. Mr Sweet has taught Math. The greatest changes Mr Sweet has observed over the years include: a decrease in student motivation and discipline and a move to a more informal clothing style. Mr Sweet's most memorable moment was when a student earned 100% for a marking period in his Math class His retirement plans consist of playing golf, skiing, travelling, and doing some work for a local contractor Mr Sweet's parting words are 1 feel that the faculty here at Conntfi has been a good group to work with We have been together a long time, and we have grown together, and have had many enjoyable moments I will miss them. Stuart Thomas started in our school system in Sep- tember 1961 He. at one time or another worked in all three outside schools • South Corinth. Palmer, and Main street Now South Corinth school is closed He said. He always enjoyed getting to know the elemen- tary students and watching them grow into mature young adults. Mr Thomas witnessed many changes take place in the school system - such as tne new high school li- brary with the Audio Visual Department added, the renovations in the Art and Science Departments - all the computers installed throughout the school It amazed him to see the students sit down and start to use computers with little or no problems Now I reflect back over the past twenty-five years and think about my great association with all the employees. Administration, and student body I know I'm going to miss everyone very much, however. I am looking forward to my years ahead I will have lots of time to catch up on all those jobs around the house, walk with my dog. play golf in the summer and do some travelling. Milton York has worked for Corinth Central School for twenty-nine years. He began his career as a Bus Mechanic and leaves his post as Head Mechanic.
