When the class of 1983 graduates to a new beginning, so will Mr. Spieldenner. After years of dedicated service to our school, he too will make a new beginning- fishing, traveling and counting grandchildren. All of us know Mr. Spieldenner as a physical education and health teacher, but he is more than just that. He is Corinth Central’s Athletic Director, in charge of keeping our teams going from game to game, season to season. He is a fan who has been there to cheer us on in good times and in bad. He is a promoter who time and time again fought for our sports program, a master who kept grade schoolers in order on field day. But even more, Mr. Spieldenner is a friend who has been there even if it meant getting up early in the morning to unlock the gym for special activities. Mr. Spieldenner is going to be missed and will always be remembered. He has been an important part of our lives, and we, the class of 1983, wish him good luck and good fortune. Thank you, coach, for all you have contributed to Corinth students during the many years you have served here. 1 FRANK A. ASHLINE Franklin You only live once so why not live It up now! SECRETARY SenneuCette Steven 15 Mechanic Street Corinth Academic To my Staff, It has been a pleasure working with a croup of peers who have been as cooperative as you have been. Hhen I first undertook this job, I thought it was going to be easy. It has turned out to be a great deal of hard work, but I can truthfully say it ha been the most rewarding job I have ever undertaken. Evenings after meetings I have gone home exhausted and sometimes irritable, but I have gone home with a feeling of accomplishment as I know you all have. The thing that riaiiy made me feci good was that, with all thedecislons that were made, no one was hurt when their idea wasn't the accepted one. It gave me a great feeling to see the staff working together as a group toward a ingle coal - to make a yearbook that will be remembered. I hope wc have reached it. Now, I would like to thank our Advisor, Mr. Martel, for giving up his evenings to help us make this a fine yearbook. 1 am very grateful to you, Mr. Martel, and to th entire staff for ali the blood, sweat, and tears, you have contributed to the building of this yearbook. Sincerelv .ours. Bernadette Stevens I ditor-in-Chief As an editor of the 1983 yearbook, I would like to dedicate this page to a very special friend of mine Bernadette “Bunny” Stevens Mitchell. She was always happy and made the people she knew happy. Those who knew her, know the great loss we feel now that she is gone. We will miss her. but will always remember all those good times and how she seemed to make everything a little easier when we had any troubles. Twenty years ago Bunny was the editor of the 1963 yearbook. The people who have a 1963 yearbook and were a friend of hers will treasure that book forever and will remember what fun and hard times Bunny and the staff had to go through to get it done, but when it was finished it was worth all the trouble. In another seven years Bunnys daughter, Kathy, will be a Senior. When Kathy gets to the 12th grade, maybe she will become the editor of her yearbook just as her mother did. 56 Mary John r I MAY BE BIG BUT I’M QUICK ATHLETICS Matt Wayne Scott Yes, We’re Great! For the past few years Miss Jones has played a very important role in our lives. We feel we have grown because of her never ending lack of patience and concern for us. She has carried out more than just a student-teacher relationship with us. She proved herself to be our true friend time and time again. Miss Jones, although we are leaving a lot behind as we start our new journey in life, we will never abandon our memories of you and all of the times we spent with you. THANK YOU”. Love, Mom and Dad To the Staff; When we first took this job, we thought it was going to be easy and fun, It has turned out to be a great deal of hard work and a lot of confusion and disappointments, in some cases. We will all feel like we did something worth while when it is done. It has been a lot of fun working with you all, but the thing that really was fun was trying to figure out what went where and who was who. We would like to thank our advisor, Mr. Milligan, for being patient with us and sometimes being calm when we made our famous errors like, not showing him the work until about 15 minutes before we were ready to mail the pages. We are grateful for all the help the staff has given us when we were ready to give up. You have done a lot to make this yearbook what it is. Sincerely yours, 7 MaJ JlujL } JUULH3.
