APPRECIATION The Class of '79 would like to recognize some very important people by giving our warmest thoughts of gratitude. Mr. Miller and Mr. MacDougall, our advisors. They stuck with us all the way from 10th grade. Their help and guidance has helped us to achieve success in raising money for a senior trip and caps and gowns for graduation. Their aid is deeply appreciated as we start our long journey through life. As high school is very important to the rest of our life, Mr. Miller and Mr. MacDougal have given us an excellent start with many fond memories. The Class of '79 also like to gratefully thank Pete Cloutier and Cam-art Stu- dios for the fine work they've done in Corinth Schools since 1970. They created those wonderful pictures of us in grade school which shall be cherished always. They also photographed our proms, our seniors and many of our yearbook scenes. Their kindness and dedication to the students of Corinth wil be gra- ciously appreciated when looking back at high school days through pictures. The Class of 1979 would finally like to extend our warmest appreciation to the Guidance Department Mr. Matino, Mr. Duval, and Mrs. Turcotte. Each one has dedicated themselves to the improvement of us as individuals. Their devo- tion is phenomenal!! They aided in achieving the best possible education for each of our particular interests and goals. They've patted us on the back knocked us down, and wiped our tears if need be. Thank-you for all your help and guid- ance, you've helped one of the most dynamic generations start life with a suc- cessful outlook!!

C.H.S. will greatly miss Mrs. St. Lawrence's presence in the school. She has been with the school system for twenty-two years. Of those years, she has taught elementary and reading classes, high school and junior high school (social studies). She also has been a student council advisor. Her encouragement and support will be greatly missed. The class of '79 will always have fond memories of her. Mrs. Bessie Mcknight retires this year after 27 years of service to the Corinth School district. Many of us remember her as a wonderful 6th grade teacher but that was not her only position on the staff. In 1952 Mrs. Mcknight began on the staff as a 2nd grade teacher. She taught this for three years of which point she turned to art teaching for 3 years. After these first six years she began teaching the sixth grade. This time for 5 years at which point she taught 4th and 5th grades for 2 and 3 years respectively. Her most recent service has been the 6th grade for the past 11 years. She helped many to grow up enough to be able to accept and change to the life of a seventh grader and high school student. She created many k memorable events in the sixth grade year of almost 1000 stu- dents . Three of these favorite events were the spelling car race, making feudal type castles, and studying the stars and building our own constellations. Mrs. Mcknight will not be for- gotten for she aided in the education of many. She proved that students and education is as precious as life itself.
