Dedtc ttoit MR. NOLAN MRS. WELCH We, the Class of '73, would like to dedicate our yearbook to two deserving people; Mr. John Nolan and Mrs. Joan Welch. They are deserving, not only for their excel- lence in teaching, but mainly for their community services. Mrs. Welch is always there when something needs that woman's touch. She is forever helping make their prom or wedding gowns, advising school organizations, and planning everything from teas to banquets. Her activities aren’t only connected with the school, but with the whole communi- ty. She is an active member of the Adirondack Regional Hospital Auxiliary and the Corinth Youth Center. Her biggest project is the annual Operation Joy program. Here she collects, packages, and delivers clothes, food, and toys to the needy families in the area. The remarkable trait about Mr. Nolan is how he gives so unselfishly of his time to a community ttiat, unfortunately for us, he doesn't even live in. Helping children grow up in a better environment seems to be his first love. He has been instrumental in establishing the Little League and Babe Ruth baseball clubs. He has served on the Corinth Youth Commission for several years and played a great part in starting our suc- cessful youth center. He is one of these men who seem not only to join an organiza- tion, but to make the organization. We have named some of the wonderful things these two people have done for our community. We just want them to know that their efforts are recognized and appre- ciated.
We, the Class of '73, would like to express our appreciation to flA i . fa c oujgoM, Owv Cktss A mso He has been with us since our money making activities began. Mr. MacDougall has always been willing to give his fullest support to us. For example, the night before our Prom, he stayed until 1:00 in the morning helping us with our decorations. He has taken our razing and criticism without comment. Mr. MacDougall has been an asset to our class that we could not have done without.
