His ideas and guidance were extremely appreciated. Again thank you and we hope that he will receive at least twenty years of rest before he is asked to take the advisor position again. We would like to extend our thanks to Mr. Budge Van Derwerker for his greatly appreciated help in designing all the division pages. His help has been an asset in making the 1972 yearbook a success. Again thanks Budge. The Editors. We the class of '72, in dedicating this yearbook to Dr. Raymond Snyder, feel that never has a dedication been more deserved. We let the following message of Mr. Milligan's speak for all of us. As faculty advisor to the yearbook staff, I would like to take this privilege to personally honor Dr. Raymond Snyder with this very sincere message from my- self and the Corinth senior class of 1972. Every community in the country should be as fortunate as we are in having a doctor who has dedicated himself to us for so many long, hard years, certainly not for pecuniary rewards as so many of us know. Thank you, Dr. Snyder for the many times you visited us at school for physicals and the trips to our homes at all hours of the day and night to care for our ill- nesses. We will never forget or stop appreciating your devotion. God bless you. 2 Words can never express what we feel for Mr. John Van Noy. He has given unsparing- ly of his time and energy. Without his help, our hopes would not have become reality. Mr. Van Noy has not been only an ad- visor, but an educator, an organizer, a de- fender, and most of all - a friend. And so, as one of our last acts as a class, we give Mr. Van Noy our best wishes and a heartfelt thank you. 3 y arbooic staff L. to R.: Advisor G. Milligon, Treasurer V. Dumas, Co-Editors K. MARION BUNZEY We, the Class of 1972, wish to express our deepest sympathy to families of the late Mr. Ronald Folts and Mrs. Marion Bunzey. Mr. Folts was important to us because he represented our school. We remember him as Supervising Principal. Whenever we saw him in the hall, he would have a ready remark and seemed interested in whatever we had to say. Mrs. Bunzey meant a great deal to us in another way. Every day at lunch hour we would think of her. She always had a friendly smile and was ready to serve us. Both of these people will be missed not only by us, but by everyone in Corinth. Bed Time? A comb? A woman's health salon gift certificate? Why West Point? The trip to Florida, taken by our Class of '72, is now part of the past, but will never be forgotten. Perhaps it would be fitting, though, to refresh our memories on all those months of work spent to make the trip possible. Remember our first attempt to earn money for the class? Mr. MacDougall helped us with a partially successful car wash. It was a slow start, but things picked up in our junior year with the profitable sale of magazine subscriptions and candy. After about eleven years of being in classrooms together, we finally seemed to be getting together as a class. At the beginning of our last year at C. H. S. , we realized that it would be a long struggle to reach our goal, and we wasted no time in beginning our campaign. Dances were held almost weekly until people seemed to tire of them. We operated the food stand at football games, too. Remember making popcorn balls and candied apples in the homemaking room? Thanks to the Drama Club we received most of the assets from their fine play. Later there were card parties, a raffle, super soap, and a great spaghetti dinner, thanks to our mothers. Our grateful thanks go to our advisors Mr. VanNoy and Mr. Matino, the administra- tion, and faculty of C. H. S. , all the townspeople of Corinth, and of course our parents. Your help and guidance was vital in all our endeavors, and we will always remember your generosity. 85 SPfR TWEEfC 86 STANDING: B. Montomery, J. Graham, M. Normile, L. Chandler, J. Crannell. Her reasons for this project, in her words, were to make the young aware of needs of their fellowman and to develop a concern for others; to foster a feeling for community spirit and pride, and to fill a clothing renovation curriculum requirement in her classes. It is an impressive sight to enter the lobby and corridors of Corinth Central School a few weeks before Christmas and see the clothing hung on huge coat racks and be- ginning to be put in cartons according to size and article, and to see the toys and canned goods in the Home Economics rooms. It is even more exciting to view the activity closer to Christmas when these articles are being assembled according to indi- vidual family needs by students, faculty, and townspeople, and delivered to them. 89 Q4NCES 90 FEOOU CWP NIRMULA KASTURI (India) My stay in the town of Corinth has been a great experience.
