B6«tCATi»t “If I were sitting here and the whole outside world were indifferent to what I was doing, I would still want to be doing just what I am.” It has often been said that man has no more in life than what he gives away. Because you have given your all with no thought to self, we dedicate the 1966 CORINTHIAN to MR. CLAYTON BROWN. We honor Mr. Brown because he has devoted som much of his professional life to Corinth Central School, and has seen it develop from a small, village school to its present burgeoning student body. Mr. Brown attended Carnegie Technical School, Geneva College, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Rochester and his Master’s Degree at Cornell University. Before becoming District Superintendent, Mr. Brown had the experience of serving as a high school principal in several schools. During the thirty years of his superintendency, Mr. Brown’s educational leadership was felt in all areas of public education, especially in the areas of school district reorganization and school finance. His sincere interest in the growth and development of Corinth Central Schools has established him as a respected and admired superintendent. Also, under his leadership there was created a Board of Cooperative Educa- tional Services for the Supervisory District, which made possible the numerous cooperative services now being enjoyed by the students of Corinth Central School. We fell that this school is especially fortunate in having a District Superintendent of such superior quality. With this dedication we extend to you our best wishes and hope that throughout the on- coming years you will remember our class and Corinth Central with fond memories.
