IN MEMORIAM Kind memories like the heath of flowers Add grace and beauty to the passing hours. The Senior Class - '57 CORINTH CENTRAL SCHOOL Dear Mrs. Wildenberg, It seems like only yesterday we were sitting in our two room school house in South Corinth. There were about twenty boys and girls in each room and you were teaching grades five - seven at convenient intervals. On the very cold days, we pupils brought the ingredients for cocoa, and all morning this aroma from the hot plate drifted through the classroom. Then during recess we'd all go to the shelf in the cloak room and get the cup which had our name on it, tramp to the stove and sample the hot cocoa. When a student became ill, you saw to it that cards and sometimes even a sunshine basket would arrive to lift his spirits. Those of us living in the country remember how you were always willing to transport us to the dentist, the doctor, to shopping areas, or to church school. Each swimming trip, day hike, trip to Lake George, Lake Luzerne, Albany or Saratoga was always more fun than the one that we had taken the year before. You always said you couldn't draw a straight line or sing a note, but you did your best to make up for the physical education, art and music teachers that we didn't have. We won't forget our daily game of baseball. With you as pitcher and ump, and thirty students divided into two teams; we always had an enjoyable game. We shall remember you for your inspiring courage, and willingness to help others; your friends, neighbors, church groups and students. Your cheerful spirit was always wel- comed by all. if Dear Mr. Martel, Since we entered high school, we have looked forward to becoming seniors. Now that the year has almost ended we realize what a happy time we have had together. Under your guidance it has been all we an- ticipated. You have helped us see our way clear, through many problems which per- plexed us, and each endeavor has been a success.
