Class History With mixed emotions we, the Class of 1958, await the future and the end of our high school career, realizing what a wonderful time we have had during our school years. As Freshmen we elected our leaders, J.Ortner, President, L.Lamb, Vice President, D.Wild, Secretary, and J .Sewerniak, Treasurer. Our only activity during this year was the Freshmen-Sophomore Round and Square Dance. In our Sophomore year, ioined by the students from East Pembroke, we chose J.Fenton, President, A.Keller, Vice President, M.Hammond, Secretary, and J.Sewerniak, Treasurer. Again our only activity was the Freshmen- Sophomore Round and Square Dance. As Juniors we elected J.Fenton, President, J.Sewerniak, Vice President, D.Schneider, Secretary, and A. Keller, Treasurer. That year we had a Junior Round and Square Dance. In the Spring accompanied by the Sen- iors we held a Junior-Senior Ball with the Theme Club '57. Music was furnished by Carl Dengler and his band. The long awaited Senior year has finally arrived. We commenced by electing J.Ortner, President, A.KeIler, Vice President, R.Stone, Secretary, and S.Boyd, Treasurer. As Seniors our first task was the magazine campaign S.Boyd was manager with A. Keller and L.Lamb as team captains. We sold 53134.42 worth of magazines and made a profit of S1088.20. We then selected our class rings. On September 13, 1957 we held our Senior Round and Square Dance from which the profit was 5138.41 . In November the Senior Class presented a play entitled Oh Charlie under the direction of Mr. Carmody and it was a success. With the advent of spring we are making plans for the Junior-Senior Ball . As we the Senior Class of 1958 leave Corfu High and embark on our chosen careers we would like to wish the Class of 1959 the best of luck, success, and happiness in its Senior year. Senior Officers President: Jeremiah Ortner Vice President: Alton Keller Secretary: Rita Stone Treasurer: Sidney Boyd
