The Board of Education is a corporate body Whose members are elected, one each year, by qualified voters at the annual school meeting to serve for a term of five years. It has the powers Q b o a r d a ' e d u C u ' I o n and duties prescribed by the Education Law to govern the schools under its jurisdiction. These include the establishment of policies, the reg- uiations for carrying out these policies, the del- egation of authority to its administrators and the like. The group meets in regular meeting once a month. This service is entirely voluntary. Principal: Mr. Wood, Supt. of Schools: Mr. Barber, East Pembroke Principal: Mr. Lane administration Principals-chief administrative officers of the respective schools, working with the State co- ordinating officer, the Superintendent of schools of the district, carry out the Board's policies.
