We have been active in sports, band and choir. Twenty-six class members belong to Senior Band and eight belong to dance band. There are a few who are going to play solos at the contest. The are: Iohn Preston, Bruce Klotzbach, Alice Meiser, and Mary Ann Ottavlani. Betty Tuchols is an active cheerleader. Many of the girls have join- ed the Library Club under the direction of Mr. Graham. The boys have played an important part in the destiny of Corfu Central Ath- letic Teams so far in 1946-47 and will continue to do so until graduation time arrives. ohn Fitz erald and Dean Tu r la ed leadln rts on the football team I 8 PPC P Y 8 P0 , while Robert Lega played in most of the games. Bruce Klotzbach was an assist- ant manager. Fitzgerald was the only Sophomore on the Varsity Basketball team, but the junior Varsity Squad was made up largely of Sophomores. These included: Gerald Bartholf, Robert Lega, Lee Stimson, John Preston, Bruce Klotzbach, and Richard Colby. William Livingston was an assistant manager. Likely Sophomore prospects for baseball include: Lega and Fitzgerald as pitchers and Colby as outfielder. Other condidates for this year's team include: Preston, Stimson, B. Klotzbach, 'IH1pper, Calnan and Wiltberger. Ingraham In our Freshman year we took part in a Freshman-Sophomore Dance with Edward Reynolds as the chairman. The next year we were jouned by the East Pembroke freshmen, who increased our class to fifty- five students. During our Iunior year we elected the following class officers: Robert Ingraham, President: Norman Havens, Vice-Presidentg Marianne McNichol1, Secretary-Treasurer. We started col- lecting dues to increase our treasury and decrease some of the costs of the Senior year. Mr. Van Ornum ls our class advisor. Our Junior Prom was held May 9th, President Vice- President ROBERT INGRAHAM MARIANNE McNICHOLL Secretary - Treasurer Also the school newspaper The School Daze was published by the Iunlor Class. Our class was organized March 19, 1947. There were 45 in the beginning of the year and now we have only 34. We pay much sympathy and memory to Rosemary Stolten who passed away from our class November 29, 1946. We elected class officers as follows: Andrew Kjeldgaard, President, Flo- rence Skeet, Vice-President, Charles Herman, Secretary, and Marion Cook, Treasurer. Several members of our class are outstanding in sportsg of these, in Basket- ball. Andy Kjeldgaard chalked up 149 points, Chuck Kellogg 147 points, and Charles Herman 49 points. Florence Skeet was outstanding in girls' Basket- ball.
