On August 31, 1959, 12 bewildered Freshmen wandered into Corder High School. The following officers were elected to lead our class: Larry Bowman....................................President Dennis Hill.............................. Vice-President Larry Barb......................................Secretary Glenda Manning..................................Treasurer Our class sponsor was Mr. Edson. The class project for the year was a wiener roast. We elected Margaret Peppers to be our queen candidate for the school carnival. Dennis Hill was her escort. Once again 12 sassy Sophomores entered C. H. S. Starting the year we elected the following officers: Dennis Hill....................................President Larry Bowman............................. Vice-President Janet Schaller................................ Secretary Robert Portell.................................Treasurer Peggy Heins.....................................Reporter Mr. True was our class sponsor. We sold Christmas cards as a money-making project. We also sponsored the Sophomore-Senior breakfast. Our Junior year in Corder High was a very busy and exciting one. We elected the follow- ing to be our leaders: Dennis Hill...................................President Larry Bowman.............................Vice-President Peggy Heins ................................. Secretary Larry Barb....................................Treasurer Our class sponsors were Mrs. Ann Schumaker and Miss Trudy Meinberg. This year we sold magazines and name labels as our money-making projects. The theme of our Junior- Senior Prom and Banquet was Happy Landing . This was to represent the Space Age. The Prom was held on May 4, 1962. We were sorry to lose Margaret Peppers, Joe Hostetter, and Terry Lisby from our class. On August 27, 1962, ten dignified and industrious Seniors entered the hallowed halls of C.H.S. for our last year as students of Corder High School. The following were elected to guide us through the year: Dennis Hill..................................President Glenda Manning..........................Vice-President Mary Dent....................................Secretary Peggy Heins..................................Treasurer Mr. Sander was our class sponsor. We were happy to welcome a new member, Mary Dent, to our class. Our class had a chili supper on December 10, 1962. The 1963 Courtwarming dance was held February 8, 1963. We were sorry to lose Janet Schaller, Larry Bowman, and Mary Nauser from our class. All of us are now looking forward to the Prom, the breakfast, and especially to graduation day.
