The class project for the year was a wiener roast. We elected Margaret Peppers to be our queen candidate for the school carnival. Dennis Hill was her escort. Once again 12 sassy Sophomores entered C. We sold Christmas cards as a money-making project. We also sponsored the Sophomore-Senior breakfast. Our Junior year in Corder High was a very busy and exciting one. This year we sold magazines and name labels as our money-making projects. The theme of our Junior- Senior Prom and Banquet was Happy Landing . This was to represent the Space Age. The Prom was held on May 4, 1962. We were sorry to lose Margaret Peppers, Joe Hostetter, and Terry Lisby from our class. On August 27, 1962, ten dignified and industrious Seniors entered the hallowed halls of C.H.S. for our last year as students of Corder High School. We were sorry to lose Janet Schaller, Larry Bowman, and Mary Nauser from our class. All of us are now looking forward to the Prom, the breakfast, and especially to graduation day.
