Senior Class Last Will and Testament I, Bob Pragman, being completely of insane mind, due entirely to the four years of attend- ing school at Corder High, do leave the most honored to the following: To--Dixie Ashford, my old stall at the Drive-In so she won’t have to sit on the “dark” side anymore. I also leave my customizing art to her which I never had. To--All of the Junior girls at Coder High-, someone else to take them up town at noon hour to eat their dinner. To--Coach Buhlig, someone else to run laps for him and argue with during drafting class. To--Mr. Finnell, someone else to have as easy to teach typing and bookkeeping. To—Irma Boeschen, the most capable art of “drag” racing with a Ford. To—Mr. True, someone else to beat in ping-pong at noon hour. To—All of the Juniors, the art of having as much fun on “Skip Day” and all of their trips as we have had during our Senior year. To--Bruce Morgan, someone else to initiate him, but good, as I shall not be here next year--if luck holds out. To--Faye Cole, the art of just goofing off, without finding someone that would go with you. To--Anyone who wants this ability, (which I doubt) to go driving and to get shot at without get- ting hurt, just scared. I, Linda Schaller, being of sound mind, do hereby draw my last will and testament. To--My sister, Janet, my ability to become a Senior. To--Glenda Manning, my ability to be quiet in school. To--Lois Boswell, the ability to pass Morgan’s Cafe, without stopping on the way home after school. To--Wanda Manning, my ability to put on more weight. To--Irma Boeschen, the ability to get her typing done on time. To--Beneta Manning, the ability to catch a guy by the name of Herbie. I, Burdette Horstman, after 4 years in this place and hoping to make it, do leave the things I don’t have to the following: To--Mr. Finnell, I leave the hope that he will not leave the bleachers after jumping off of them at Missouri Valley. To--Coach Buhlig, the hope that he doesn’t hurt anybody when playing “chicken” with his car. To--Gary Bauer, better luck next time. I, Joyce Cole, being of unreasonably sound mind and body after finishing these 4 years of C.H.S., submit my last will and testament: To--Faye, my position as girl’s student-manager. May she have more luck dodging towels, rosin cans, and whatever Coach happens to throw, than I did. To--Harold Bedford, the ability to know where I am and where I’m going before I start driving the car. To--All the girls who are going “steady”, the ability to go with a body for quite a while and to average at least one good argument a week. To--Jim Frerking, someone else to hang on tree limbs and to try to cure him from yawning. To--The Freshmen, the ability to become a Senior, and, it isn’t easy. To--Harvey Bedford, someone else to hide his shoes and just pester him in general at noon hour. To--Lois, a softer head so she won’t go around busting all of Irma’s car windshields. To--Irma, my ability to get in trouble, I’ve had it too long already. To--Carl Hackler, someone else to tease him about a certain girl he has been seen eating lunch with at school. To--Beneta, some sleeping pills so she can have time enough to finish her continued dreams. To--Gary and his associates, someone else to pester on the bus. To--Mrs. Hollis, someoneelse to make toasted cheese sandwiches, every day we have macaroni and cheese. I, Sharon Tieman, having finished my last year of high school and about to depart, will the following to my fellow students who are so unfortunate as to have to spend more years in C.H.S.:

To--Coach Buhlig, another girl to eat a well balanced breakfast of coffee and cake while study- ing Nutrition in Health. To--Jim Frerking, the ability not to have any hot arguments in study hall that will not raise the temperature more than 10 degrees Fahrenheit. To--Joyce Liese, my seat on the bus to and from all ball games so that she may retain my “lady-like position.” To--Mr. Edson, someone who is continuously asking to be excused from Glee Club. To--Kenneth Fricke, someone else to torment at noon hour. To--Beneta Manning, my position on the basketball team. May she learn to go off on the right foot when making a lay-up. To--Ernest Angle, my ability to get through four years of high school. To—Mrs. Ann Schumaker, the knowledge of how to use tongs” on a baby. To--Harlan McGinnis, last, but not least, the ability to stay awake during classes and especially while driving a car. I, Pat Goetz, being of surprisingly sound mind and body, after these past years, leave the following: To—Mr. Edson, a new piano player who will be ready when he gives the downbeat. To--Coach, someone else to find excuses to miss P. E. To—Margaret Peppers, my basketball ability, which I never used. To--Irma Boeschen, my ability to make passing grades and still be able to go out at night. To--Sandra Lynn, my ability to get in trouble with little or no effort. To—Dixie Ashford, my ability to keep out of trouble which she needs, and I never used. To—Mary Ann Martin, my piano bench, may she have better luck balancing on it than I did. To—Some Junior, my desk with still some space left for carving. To—All Freshmen, my ability to get through four years of C.H.S. To—My sister Sherry, last, but not least, my books—all of which will be outdated by the time she needs them. I, Lolita Goetz, will to the following people: To--Edward Goetz, my books to study them more than I did. To—Becky Ernstmeyer, my place on the basketball team. To—The eighth grade girls, the ability to grow up before they get into high school. To—Peggy Heins, the ability to be a nice, quiet, refined Senior—like I am. To—Edna Hollis, the front seat on the bus, to and from games, so she won’t have to fight for it. To--Mrs. Hollis, someone else to come back for “seconds.” To--Coach Buhlig, a better basketball team, than he had last year. I, Sue Hackley, being of unsound mind and body, do will these possessions to following people: To—Beneta Manning, someone else to walk to town with on Wednesday and Thursday. To--Faye Cole, someone else to fight with. May they like her as well as I did. To--Becky Ernstmeyer, another soprano, so she won’t get worried just before Glee Club. To—Coach Buhlig, someone else to try everything in their power to get out of Physical Educa- tion. To—Mr. Finnell, someone who can do a little better in bookkeeping. To—Irma Boeschen, my books, may she use them more than I did. To--The Freshmen, the power to get through high school. To--Some lucky Junior, my desk on the Senior’s side of the room.
