L to R-Lori Williams, Jacque Hale, Lori Wrightsman, DeAnn Nickel, Denise Nickel. Go Big Blue! - a familiar phrase at CHS. It could be heard in halls, the audi- torium, on the football field, and in the gym. No matter where the Devils went, the cheerleaders always followed. Because of their late start, the cheer- leaders had to get organized, learn their routines, and find uniforms all in two weeks. But by the first game they were ready and have done a tremendous job all year long. The cheerleaders have hoisted the Dev- i1's spirit at pep assemblies with exciting dance routines, making up the coaches' faces, and all kinds of yelling. They've also sponsored dress up day, mask day, blue Sr white day, and much, much more. It isn't easy getting fan cooperation and keeping the spirit high, but these young ladies have certainly done their part in making sure that Cordell Blue Devils are gl 77 , ,, ,W .M Cordell shows its school spirit on the courthouse square after the 1980-81 homecoming parade.
