Now that the year is over, we can look back and laugh at all the funny and sometimes uninten- tional stunts done by students at Cordell High. All, whether a performer or fan, had a part in making the past year a good one. Each had his individual part. Together the enthusiasm and interest of the students and faculty made the year full of activities. Some of these were ball games, F. H. A. and F. F. A. initiations, the homecoming parade, float making, speech and band contests, and graduation. Along with these we have the regulars, such as term papers, tests, and homework. Each day brings something new. The spirit keeps us striving for more. Table Of Contents OPENING ....., ELEMENTARY ... lUNlOR HIGH .... FACULTY ............ HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS ..... At first high school appears cold and unfriendly, but getting into activities such as working on floats for the football home- coming, being part of the teams in sports, and actually finding out what it is to be a Blue Devil warmed things up a bit for the newcomers. The Sophomore year is one of fun blended with hard work, preparing them for the future, while making memories of the past. l 103 O joy Allen Loy Allen james Banks D'von Brite Shari Burke julie Cannon Glen Coldwill Cathy Coon Diego Colon Mike Daniel Phillip Donley Brad Dorsey Clyde Duerksen Deanna Dyer Wendy Elliot Keith Franklin Brenda Freeland Wanda Garner Cindy Garrison Phillip Green Lee Gregg jerry Hance Brenda Harris Lanny Holman PresidentMRick Wald rop Vice-PresidenteShari Matz Secretary-D'von Brite Sophomores Learn to sl Avoid Dangerous Upperclassmen i wa' , ..,, Kathy Hymer Brad jones Randy jones Shelly Kliewer Mike Krewall Billy Leeper Rhonda Lowry Charlinda Maddox Marlane Maddox Sheri Matz Berry Merkey Connie Miller Clint Montgomery Mark Morris Sheila Powell Dawn Ratzlaff Mary Rea Dana Rippetoe Rhonelda Roark Sandra Rogers Dennis Rowe Connie Schmidt Gary Sewell Kristie Sharp Ricky Smith Lori Sperle Donnie Spradley Leroy Tackett Ricky Taylor Eddie Thompson Rick Waldrop Ken Waugh Gary Wedel Buddy Wless Darla Williams jeri Windham 10 0 7U,,,,, M..,....-c'f.... , 'M , , 2 1 Juniors The juniors are a mix, blend, and tumble of many personalities, laughing, crying, and working, getting things done together. We, the Senior Class of 1977, started twelve long years ago preparing for the time in our lives when we would go our separate ways and discover what the world holds in store for us. These twelve years were full of study, patience, parties, frustrations, fun, hard work, and endurance. We have had many happy times and a few sad, but it was all worth while. The past twelve years are all about hours and days and months . . . years to prepare . . . one last nervous minute of silent exuberance . . . moments to be, remembered and moments that must be forgotten . . . it's all about proud parents, blue robes, and a diploma . . . the happy-sad beginning of a new way of life. 124 2 Blue Devil Boosters Giblet Motor Company Phillips 66 Clay's Fabrics Clinic Pharmacies Chamlee Drug Houston Hulin, lnc.
