Because they have had a far-reaching influence in shaping the destiny of the school and the lives of its pupils g because they have given to us untiringly of their time and talents 5 they have become the symbol of the spirit of our school. D. H- STANDARD SUPERINTENDENTS MESSAGE I congratulate you on being willing to put forth the effort and to contribute the time which this undertaking has required. Your Work is a distinct contribution to your school and will be a beautiful memorial for the class of 1945. An annual, like all other worthwhile projects, tests the mettle of those responsible for its consumation. Such a contribution as your annual shows your superintendent and your friends just what you are capable of doing. May this same keen sense of responsibility follow you through the years, and may your life's ventures be equally as successful.
