Girl 's Soccer Team CC 99 Despite the bad weather we had, the Girls, Soccer team kicked off to a fair- ly successful season with many new faces. The CNYCL champion team of 76 left behind only four of their all- star players. All and all, with the enthu- siasm and kindness of coach Janet Bluem, this year's team looks promis- ing for next year. Girls' Soccer 77 had some surprising changes from the past years at T. J. C, For the first time, in addition to the Varsity team, a Junior Varsity team was formed. This two-team split was a Over the years at Corcoran, the Girls' Soccer team has been coached by Mrs. Janet Bluem. Her immense effort and skill in coaching has brought success repeatedly. Although the girls' soccer team had a fairly good season, Mrs. Bluem thought they could have done better. She said with time and effort next year, the results look promising. n the Ball success because many of the girls had more of a chance to play and display their ability and energy on the field. The Girls, Varsity squad wrapped up their season with a 7-4-1 record. The team went on to the sectionals and lost to romping B'ville, 6-0. There were three girls who made the all-city team. They were Gail Cawley, Karen Grabski, and Lisa Kimura. Hon- orable mention went to Theresa Clarke, Cheryl Bailey, and Mimi Braunitzer.
