f ridges-old, wooden, covered, breath-taking, rusty, simple, shiny, some the product of sweat and sacrifice, others the manufactured object of man's creativity and technology. The means of making it over a rampaging river, a peaceful pond, an awesome gorge or a treacherous pathg and then leaving us on our own to continue on. And in a way, high school has been a bridge, a special one, leading us through three important years of our lives, many a friendship having come and gone. A time and place for an education and experiences essential to a better life, a destiny. A symbol of unity among nations, the Thousand Islands Bridge joins the United States and Canada. 00 9-IQ Near the base of White-Face Mountain in the Adirondacks, this stone bridge peace- fully awaits the excitement of the 1980 Olympics. A seemingly tranquil site amidst the con- fusion ofthe O.C.C. campus, this bridge may be traveled by many Corcoran students in the future,
