She was disappointed, though, as Corcoran 5 l Each face is unique, carrying its own character, one that will always be recognized, one that reflects the individuality and ambition of a person. Yet all faces resemble each other, shar- ing necessary features, making evident our conformities and dependencies on others. Our feelings are released through ex- pressions, those ofjoy and those of sorrow. When disappoint- ment occurs, we search for a friendly smile, one that seems to replace our grief with hope.
